What does your CDL Assistance program include?
We offer one-on-one training for your CDL needs. We offer no limit on practice time. Our goal is to help the driver become more familiar with the requirements of the CDL Road Test and the State requirements and regulations for CDL drivers.

What is the difference between a Class A and a Class B CDL?
Class A
Tractor/Trailer with a GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) of 26,001 lbs. or combined with trailer that has a GVWR of 10,000 lbs. or more.
Class B
Straight truck, bobtail or Bus with a GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) of 26,001 lbs. or more.

There are procedures that you have to complete in order to receive your commercial drivers license. From the time that you first contact us we will take you through the procedures step by step. We will tell you which tests are required for the license you want and the best way and place to take them.

Once you have passed the required written tests at the D.P.S. you will contact us and schedule an appointment to come in and drive our trucks. We ask that you make an appointment so we can so we can make sure that a truck and driver is available for you when you arrive. We will go over everything with you that the D.P.S. is going to do on your Road Test. We want you to be fully prepared the day of your test.

What is an endorsement?
Drivers who operate special types of CMVs also need to pass additional tests. These are called endorsements, or you can think of them as restrictions on your cdl.

  • Hazardous Material (Class H)
  • Tank Vehicles (Class N)
  • Passenger-Carrying Vehicle (Class P)
